Lincoln Homestead State Park
5079 Lincoln Park Rd., Springfield, KY

Lincoln Homestead State Park is a 153-acre park on land settled by Abraham Lincoln's family. The actual building in which Nancy Hanks, mother of President Lincoln, lived during her courtship with Thomas Lincoln is preserved here, as well as a replica of the 1782 cabin where Thomas Lincoln lived as a boy.

The Mordecai Lincoln House is the one structure in Kentucky, of those formerly owned by members of Abraham Lincoln’s family, which still stands largely intact on its original site in an unaltered condition.  Built by the president’s favorite uncle Mordecai in 1797, the house reflects his financial security and social status at the time.

The park also has a museum, gift shop, picnic area, playground, three fishing lakes, and an 18-hole championship golf course and a pro shop. View directions!
